Software Center is an application that is installed on all machines enrolled in Georgia Tech's Windows endpoint management platform, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). Within Software Center, users can install distributed applications, check for machine updates, and see what software & updates have been installed.
Accessing Software Center
On Windows managed computers, look for the application called Software Center:
Once the application opens you should be able to view the following tabs within Software Center.
Applications Section:
Updates Section:
Here you can see the updates that are pending for the computer. You can click Install All so that these updates take place at a time that is convenient for you.
When updates first become available, you may also see this windows "Toast" notification in the bottom right corner of your screen:

Options Section:
Here you can set your "Business hours" so that updates will can be applied outside of your set hours.
